Carbon Impact
Did you know that oysters are incredible carbon sequesters? A single oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water per day, removing nitrogen and other pollutants while capturing carbon.
Oyster reefs sequester approximately 1.7 metric tons of carbon per acre annually. By using recycled oyster shells in our candles, we're extending their environmental impact and preventing these shells from ending up in landfills.
